12 weeks

Well this is my very first blog. I'm only doing this because my cousin Kasey wants me to. So I'm going to give it a shot. My other cousins wife writes the best blogs, so its going to be really hard to compete. :) I guess this wont be so bad especially with Shawn being gone again. Since we just moved again I haven't had the chance to meet anyone so this time I'm really alone and maybe this will give me a chance to talk.. even if it is typing into a computer.
I am pregnant. It came as a complete shock to us, but hey they say Virginia is for lovers! Now that its all so real we couldn't be more excited. I'm not thrilled that I will be doing everything alone, but that's the life of a Marines wife and I wouldn't change it. I'm 12 weeks as of yesterday. I have no symptoms. No sickness, no cravings, NOTHING. If it weren't for the positive tests, the ultrasounds, and my nice new bra size I wouldn't even know I am pregnant. I'm not showing yet either. To me I just look bloated. I still haven't gained any weight but I'm sure that will be changing quickly and I will be on the fast track to cankles in no time! My next appointment isn't until August 6th. That's just to do some blood tests and a few others. Unfortunately because we are military I only get 2 ultrasounds. So I wont get to see the baby again until 20 weeks when we find out what "baby c" is. Hopefully I can bat my eyes and smile a little and maybe talk them into a freebie. But at least I can hear the heartbeat :)
I hope I haven't bored you to tears too much. My life is boring right now. I'm in a new town with no friends, my husbands deployed again, I go to school, come home, eat. sleep. homework. take care of the dogs. Then I do it all again the next day.
That's all there is to report on the home front this week! Hopefully next week will be more exciting!
